    1 - I Canīt start Blender under Linux with Voodoo3

    To use hardware acceleration for the Voodoo3 on Linux you need to use the newest version of 'XFREE86 4.0' or above. This version has acceleration for the Voodoo3, for information on setting it up go to: https://www.xfree86.org/4.0.2/DRI10.html#24

    Yes, starting with version 4.0 XFREE86 supports many accelerated video cards. information for cards supported on XFREE86 4.0* and how to set them up is at: https://www.xfree86.org/support.html
