I have a MicroWay Alpha pc164 21164 that dual boots(NT4/Linux), the best luck I've had so far is with RedHat Linux 7.0. I started with Redhat5.0 then went to Redhat6.1, for the number of applications available for the Alpha 7.0 is so far the best. There were some issues with mesa and Blender dynamic that required making some links to the places that Blender looks for mesa at due to Redhats changing things around. A good source for Linux disks is at https://www.cheapbytes.com/
