1 - What does the build effect do?

    Contributed by Edna.

The build effect builds up a mesh object face by face within an animation. The order in which faces are built up depends on the order in which they were created. This order can be rationalised using the xsort and hash buttons (in edit buttons).

More information on the xsort button can be found here:

2 - How do I use the wave effect?

    Contributed by B@rt.

The wave effect works only on meshes. To set up a wave select a mesh, switch to the Animation Buttons (F7) and click on 'New Effect'. Change the default effect ('Build') to Wave. Tweak the parameters until you're satisfied.

Hint: You can apply more than one wave effect on a mesh to get natural looking water.
