#blender3d is an IRC channel (or, in other words, a sort of chat room) for Blender users, or people interested in Blender.
#Blender3d is the best place to go if you are having a tough problem or you need to find out about a blender feature.
Because it is realtime, you are almost certain to get quick answers (and maybe just a bit of cheek ;) ).
It's also a nice place to just share ideas, get fast feedback on new pics, and to share games made in Blender.
