Eupatorium perfoliatum (Common Boneset)
This specimen of Common Boneset shows the upper part of a stem and dense clusters of flower heads. The plant grows in wet prairie areas. It blooms from midsummer into fall.
The opposite leaves are united around the stem and serrated along the edges. They typically curve downward.
