Coreopsis tripteris (Tall Coreopsis)
This specimen of Tall Coreopsis shows the three-sectioned opposite leaves and light yellow flower heads with eight ray flowers.
Tall Coreopsis grows in moist to mesic prairies and blooms from summer to early fall. Plants range in height from two to eight feet.
