Aline Vollmer Fruhauf (1909 - 1978)

Aline Fruhauf made her career as a caricaturist, making drawings, prints, and paintings of famous people in the fields of music, stage, screen, the judiciary, and other fields of endeavor. She studied at the Parsons School of Design and the Art Students League. She worked in New York for The Morning Telegraph and Musical America magazine. Her work for the WPA graphics program honed her skills in lithography.
