Molded opaque green glass
The Jeannette Glass Company began as a bottle plant about 1900. Over the next 30 years it became a mechanization leader, announcing an end to all hand operations in 1927. It offered a variety of glass storage containers, including this refrigerator set of one large and two small "trays" designed for convenient stacking. Other refrigerator items included a butter box with cover and a rectangular ice box jug with cover. These pieces, as well as many others, were made in Jadite, an opaque green glass, and Delphite, an opaque blue glass introduced in 1936.
