Crown Milano art glass
The Mt. Washington Glass Company was one of the few makers of art glass in the United States that did not add Art Nouveau glass to its line. The translucent white glass of Crown Milano was acid finished, and brown and beige designs were embedded in the glass. These designs were frequently decorated with enameling on the surface, as is the case with this piece.
