What will I do? We can get a small flat; save money for emergencies. Even a three-room flat would be wonderful! We'd have money left over for all kinds of things--fees to use the library, money for the theatre...whatever we wanted to do!

I don't know. Maybe I should get the best house we can afford. We can cut back on that other stuff. We could grow our own vegetables in the backyard. My wife could sew clothes. We could really have a nice place!
