Bottle number two was excavated at the David Davis mansion. The home was inhabited by a wealthy family in the 1870s. This bottle was not glass blown, but poured into a mold.
Notice the telltale mold marks left on the side and the bottom of the bottle. The bottle has no kick-up, which tells us that perhaps it was used for a liquor other than wine. Does anything else lead you to think this?
