Minetta Good worked for the New York City and New Jersey WPA graphics program, and she also made a WPA mural for a Los Angeles post office.

The fine shading in this lithograph may have been achieved by using oily ink applied to the plate with a brush. The image has a modernist feel with its slightly off-kilter buildings.
